We love our children and are always looking for ways to engage our children in growing their faith.

About Light Ministries Kids

Homer City and Black Lick offer children's church during the service time. In those settings, children up to 6th grade are introduced to the bible stories and learn how to use a bible. Our leaders gather the children at the back of the sanctuary and lead them to their classroom. Always know that your children are welcome to be with you during the service. Please do not feel obligated to release your children to children's church.

Your First Visit?

Visiting us for the first time? No fear!

Our children's church leaders will check in your child at the back of the sanctuary. We will walk you through each step and since it is your first time, show you the room the children will be meeting in and what is planned. We are excited to have your children with us and the opportunity to share Jesus with them.

There is a class for every age at Valley of Light Ministries!

Safety First

All of our team members are trained in Child Safety protocols and all have up to date clearances. They are also CPR and AED trained and certified. We will look after your child like they are our own because they are God's little ones.

What we Teach

Our curriculum takes the children through the stories of the Bible and helps them to understand what we believe as Christ's followers. We also stress that we are to love others and help whenever we can and actively have our children help with collections for needy and to help the local food pantry. We live our mission, vision and values in our children's ministry.
